Convex is a unique group of products for hot fixing. They allow you to create fancy multi-colored or uniform thermal patterns. They are covered with glue on the underside, which is activated by high temperature and sticks to the product.

Convex for decorating clothes and accessories.

Convex is a unique way of decorating clothes. Their use brings immediate and, above all, lasting effects. They are covered with glue on the bottom, which is activated by heat - penetrating the fabric, permanently bonding to it. Convexes are intended not only for decorating clothing and accessories, but can also be successfully used in broadly understood DIY handicrafts.

Convex application in 5 steps!

Heating convex is very easy!

  1. If the motif is placed on transfer foil, we remove its white, embossed bottom layer.
  2. Place the convexes directly on the right side of the product.
  3. Place a heated iron with the steam function turned off directly on the transfer foil for about 30 seconds, without moving it horizontally (it may distort the heated pattern) and pressing.
  4. We also heat it again on the "left" side to make sure that the glue has penetrated the material. For larger convexes, it is worth starting from the "left" side.
  5. We gently tear off the transparent transfer foil and check whether the decoration sticks to the material well (if not, repeat the application).

    Useful tips:

    1. To avoid creases or possible moisture - iron the application site before heating.
    2. It is good to use a "spacer" between two layers of material, e.g. baking paper or a piece of fabric, to avoid the material sticking together.
    3. If you do not use transfer foil, cover the convex with a piece of fabric during application to avoid direct contact with the iron.
    4. If the convexes differ significantly in size (height), make sure that the smaller (lower) ones are pressed correctly. It is best to apply from lowest to highest.

    How to care for clothes decorated with convex?

    Thanks to the use of high-quality convex, you can easily keep your decorated clothes clean. However, several rules should be followed to make the product durable and pleasing to the eye for a long time:

    Washing:

    • wash by hand or in a washing machine on delicate mode;
    • do not exceed the temperature of 40 degrees;
    • turn the clothes inside out;
    • reduce the centrifugation speed or, preferably, omit it.

    Ironing:

    • iron on the "left" side;
