Metal half rounds- called MHR for short - are available in dozens of colors and several sizes: 3, 4 and 6 millimeters. Metal half rounds are light, aluminum "competitors" of glass rhinestones, being much lighter, which in the case of large, rich patterns translates into a much lower load on the fabric, and in the case of light materials - the only decoration option. The metal half rounds are covered with glue on the bottom, which is activated by heat - penetrating the fabric and permanently bonding with it.

Metal half rounds are intended not only for decorating clothing and accessories, but also for cardmaking and scrapbooking. They can be successfully used in the broadly understood DIY crafts (Do It Yourself).

Application of metal half rounds in 4 steps!

Welding motifs from MHR is very easy!

If the motif is placed on transfer foil, we remove its white, embossed bottom layer.
Place the metal half rounds directly on the right side of the product.
Place the heated iron without steam function directly on the transfer foil for about 15 seconds, without moving it horizontally (this may distort the heated pattern) and pressing it.
We gently tear off the transparent transfer foil and check whether the decoration sticks to the material well (if not, repeat the application).

Useful tips:

To avoid creases or possible moisture - iron the application site before heating.
It is good to use a "spacer" between two layers of material, e.g. baking paper or a piece of fabric, to avoid the material sticking together.
On jeans, we recommend heating the plates twice before removing the transparent transfer foil.
