What are glass rhinestones?

Glass thermojets are small, graceful crystals with a unique cut, strikingly resembling real gemstones. They shimmer beautifully in the light, creating a very impressive and elegant finish of the product. They transform every fabric and other materials intended for decoration. They allow you to create fancy multi-colored or uniform thermal patterns. They are covered with glue on the underside, which is activated by high temperature and sticks to the product.

How are thermo jets delivered?

The sticking rhinestones are packed in separate bags divided into sizes. This is a DIY set (Do It Yourself), so you do not receive a ready-made pattern, but only a collection of rhinestones.

Application:

Thermo jets have a very wide range of applications and are used primarily for decorating:

  • women's and children's clothing, personal underwear
  • costumes for dancers, wedding and evening dresses, New Year's Eve outfits, swimsuits
  • leather goods (natural and ecological leather) and jeans
  • accessories, such as shoes, bags, hats, scarves, scarves, gloves, tights, socks
  • home accessories, i.e. curtains, drapes, bedding, pillows, blankets, rugs, tablecloths, table runners, pads, towels

Rhinestones can also be successfully used for:

  • decorating handicraft and art works, decorating techniques such as cardmaking, scarpbooking
  • nail decoration or as a makeup complement (cosmetics)
  • finishing bouquets for weddings, communions, baptisms, etc. (floristry)
  • decorating furniture, mirrors, vases, etc.
  • creating unique images and applications

Application method:

  1. Place the pattern of thermal decorations on the hot fix transfer foil or loosely, directly on the right side of the product.
  2. Set the iron to a temperature of 150-180°C (2-3 dots).
  3. Place a cloth or baking paper between the two layers of the product to avoid them sticking together.
  4. Place the stone appliqué on the right side of the fabric - with the flat side of the thermo decoration - and cover it with a cloth or baking paper.
  5. Apply the iron without the steam function for approx. 30 seconds. by pressing lightly (do not move horizontally).
  6. After this time, turn the product over and apply the iron to the back of the product. Iron for approx. 15 seconds.
  7. Gently peel off the transfer foil, wait until the glue cools down and check whether the decorations are completely stuck to the material. If not, we repeat the action.

ATTENTION! To obtain the desired effect and avoid, for example, the glue spilling from under the thermal decoration or its detachment, try to attach the stone to the wrong side of the material or to its scrap.

Tip:

Add a sheet of transfer foil to the rhinestones. Thanks to it, you can arrange the finished pattern in a simple way - the foil contains glue that will keep the rhinestones in place. Find the pattern you are interested in and print it in a mirror image (the printer has this option). Place the pattern under the transfer foil and secure it against shifting (e.g. with a stapler, paper clips). Arrange the rhinestones for gluing according to: pattern - with the glue (dark side) up. One of our applicators or tweezers will make it easier, which you can also find in the suggestions under the product. When you finish arranging, all you have to do is apply it on the iron in the selected place.
